Martin Zialcita: Credentials, Roles and Verified Public Work

Future Skills Hawaiʻi. An independent civic initiative that owns public research on Hawaiʻi AI adoption and workforce readiness. Martin is its founder. That is published as qualified and self-attested: he identified the initiative as his and confirmed the role, and no incorporation record, governance document or founding date has been filed against the claim, which is why no founding year is stated. The canonical ownership table for the research itself is on the research hub, and the reason it matters is that Hawaiʻi figures cited on this site belong to Future Skills Hawaiʻi rather than to Martin personally.

A number of carried-over figures are still being worked through: aggregate client counts, efficiency and funding percentages, an hours-saved total, and an appearance count. None of them appears as an assertion anywhere on this site, none is emitted in structured data, and none will be published until its baseline, measurement method, sample and permissions are documented.

The specific wording of those figures is deliberately not reproduced here. Repeating an unsupported number, even to disown it, still puts the phrase on a page under Martin’s name where a search engine or an answer engine can pick it up and associate the two. Withholding the claim means withholding the words.

A separate group of descriptions has been withdrawn permanently rather than queued for evidence. These were superlatives, and a superlative cannot be objectively verified no matter how much documentation is assembled, so no amount of work would make them publishable.

Two of these moved from withheld to publishable on 8 August 2026, when Martin supplied and approved the exact wording. Both are published as qualified, not verified: they rest on his own statement, and neither has yet been corroborated against an institutional record.

Education. Martin holds an MBA from the Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. A degree is ordinarily stated on the graduate's own authority, which is why this is published rather than held. No graduation year is given, because none was supplied and inferring one would be invention. Person.alumniOf now names the university in this site's structured data. It will move to verified when a transcript or degree record is on file.

Teaching. Martin has taught an AI Marketing and Ethics course at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Read that sentence for exactly what it says: it records a course taught, and it does not assert a title, a department, an appointment, or a current position. Those are separate facts and none of them is claimed here. The course is attributed to the university rather than to a college within it, because that is how Martin stated it. Publishing it as “Shidler College of Business” would be a paraphrase of an academic affiliation, which is the single most damaging kind of error this page could make. Languages. Still held, pending approval of the exact formulation. This is the only item in this section that remains withheld.

One engagement is documented to the standard this site requires: an AI-assisted production project with the TLE Foundation. It is written up in full on the case studies page as Martin's own account of his own work. No client quotation appears there: the testimonial was withdrawn rather than held pending permission, so nothing on that page depends on a third party's consent.

That is currently the entire documented list, and the honest reason is that earlier work was not documented at the time to a standard that survives scrutiny: no captured baselines, no recorded permissions. Rebuilding it retrospectively is not possible for most of it.

No original research dataset has been published yet. Where Hawaiʻi adoption and workforce research exists, Future Skills Hawaiʻi is the canonical owner and this site links to it rather than reproducing it. See the research hub.

No peer-reviewed publications, book, or byline list is claimed. Any that exist will be listed here with source links when confirmed.

No appearance list is published, because none has been assembled with verifiable event names, dates, and URLs. A count of appearances without that list would be exactly the kind of unfalsifiable claim this page exists to avoid; so the previous site's podcast-appearance figure is in the outstanding table above rather than restated here.

This is among the easier items to resolve: appearances are countable and usually leave a public URL. An events and media page is planned, and will list only appearances that can be independently checked.
