What is here
Four working documents: a scored AI citation readiness assessment, a phased systems integration checklist, and two versioned frameworks. Each is free to use and adapt, prints cleanly to PDF, states its own limitations, and carries a citation format. Nothing here is gated behind an email address, because a checklist you have to trade for is a lead magnet rather than a resource.

Key takeaways
- Nothing is email-gated. If a resource is useful it should be usable.
- Everything is versioned, so a citation stays meaningful after a revision.
- Every item states where it does not apply, the section most such documents omit.
- All of it prints cleanly to PDF, with interface chrome stripped and accordions expanded.
Free 10-minute diagnostic
Start here: find where your revenue is leaking
Most established service businesses do not have a traffic problem. Revenue leaks between visibility, inquiry, response, follow-up, measurement and delivery, and the leak is rarely where the owner expects it.
- VisibilityCan buyers find you?
- ConversionDoes attention become action?
- Speed-to-LeadHow fast do you respond?
- Follow-UpWhat happens after day one?
- MeasurementDo you know what creates revenue?
- CapacityCan your systems support growth?
30 statements, scored on what happens today rather than what is planned. You get a score out of 100 for each of the six systems, and your three lowest sections are your first priorities.

The scorecard is an AI Marketing Box diagnostic, the commercial practice, and it opens on their site. It is directional: it points at where to look first and does not predict a business outcome.
Checklists
Working documents, meant to be run against a real situation rather than read.
v1.0 · 40 checks · PDF
AI Citation Readiness Checklist
A scored assessment of whether a page is positioned to be found and cited by AI answer engines. Five dimensions, with the methodology published and the limits admitted.
- Scored out of 40, one point per check
- Methodology and derivation stated
- Reviewed annually (next July 2027)
- Downloadable PDF
52 checks · 8 phases
AI Systems Integration Checklist
A pre-production checklist for connecting AI to systems an organization already runs. Blocking items should stop a launch; advisory items can be accepted as recorded debt.
- 32 blocking, 20 advisory
- Scope through handover, in order
- Prints cleanly for offline work
Frameworks
Two, deliberately. Only frameworks genuinely used in teaching, consulting, research, or working systems are published here.
v1.0 · Implementation
Practical AI Adoption Framework
Five stages with explicit exit criteria, for taking one workflow from observation to a measured result. Procedural and immediately usable.
- Original cycle diagram
- Exit criterion per stage
- When not to use it
- Citation format
v1.0 · Capability
Shuhari for AI Adoption
The traditional Japanese progression of follow, adapt, transcend, applied to how organizations build AI capability rather than buy AI tools. Diagnostic rather than procedural.
- Original progression diagram
- Sourced history
- How the framing can be misused
- Citation format
On not gating any of this
None of these requires an email address. That is a deliberate choice rather than an oversight: a checklist you have to trade contact details for is a lead-capture mechanism with a checklist attached, and it changes what the document is optimized for.
If you find one useful and want to hear when it is revised, the newsletter exists for that. It is not a condition of access.
Using and adapting these
Free to use, adapt, and circulate internally, including commercially. Each item carries its own citation format on its page.
If you publish an adapted version, attribution to martinzialcita.com is appreciated, and a note describing what you changed is more useful to your readers than strict fidelity. A checklist adapted to your actual risk posture is better than one followed literally.
The original diagrams may be reproduced with attribution. They are hand-authored inline SVG, so they stay sharp at any size.
What is not here
No slide decks or templates yet. Neither has been produced to a standard worth publishing. A template that has not been used on real work tends to encode assumptions nobody has tested.
No designed PDF workbooks. The citation readiness checklist has a generated PDF; the others rely on the print stylesheet, which is adequate but not designed. That is listed as outstanding rather than described as finished.
These resources address AI implementation in organizations with existing business systems and no dedicated machine-learning function. None is written for model development, regulated deployment under a named compliance regime, or safety-critical systems.
Frequently asked questions
Are these free to use commercially?
Yes. Use them with clients, inside your organization, or as the basis for your own version.
Attribution is appreciated rather than required. Republishing one verbatim as your own work is the only thing worth asking you not to do.
Why is nothing behind an email form?
Because gating changes what a document is for. A checklist designed as a lead magnet gets optimized for the exchange rather than for being run.
The newsletter is available if you want revision notices. It is not the price of entry.
How often are these revised?
The citation readiness checklist is reviewed annually, and sooner if provider documentation changes materially. The frameworks are reviewed at least every six months.
Every item carries a version history, so material changes are recorded rather than applied silently.
