What it is, and is not

It is a notification that something published, with a paragraph on why it was worth writing. The substance lives on this site, publicly, without an email address attached; see insights and resources.

It is not a drip sequence, not a nurture campaign, and not a route into a sales funnel. Subscribing does not add you to anything else, and it will not produce a follow-up asking whether you would like to book a call.

It is also not a curated AI news roundup. Those exist, several are good, and there is no reason to add another.

There is no archive yet

No issues have been sent, so there is nothing to browse. An archive will appear on this page once there is one, rather than a placeholder implying a back catalog that does not exist.

In the meantime everything that would appear in an issue is already published on this site.

Subscribing

The form collects one field, an email address, and nothing else.

  • Email address

The only required field. No name, organization, or role; none would be used, so collecting them would be collecting for its own sake.

  • Explicit consent

An unchecked box, with plain wording about what will be sent and how often. Not pre-checked, and not buried.

  • Double opt-in

A confirmation email before any list addition, so a mistyped address never receives anything.

  • One-click unsubscribe

In every issue, honored immediately, with no confirmation step and no retention sequence.

  • No tracking

No open pixels and no click rewriting. This is a deliberate constraint on the provider choice, not a default.

  • Deletion on request

An unsubscribe removes the address rather than flagging it as inactive.

The form is not live yet

This build is a static site with no form handler configured. Subscribing needs either a serverless handler or a trusted email provider, chosen against the constraints above, particularly the no-tracking requirement, which several mainstream providers do not support cleanly.

Until then, the RSS feed carries everything the newsletter would, immediately and without giving anyone your email address. It is genuinely the better option and it is odd that so few sites say so.

Data handling

Your address is used to send the newsletter and for nothing else. It is not sold, rented, shared, appended, or used to build a profile, and it does not enter a CRM as a lead.

Full detail is in the privacy policy and the AI data practices page, including the position that subscriber data is not used to train any model.

If you would rather not hand over an email address at all, that is a reasonable preference. Use the feed.

Frequently asked questions

How often will you email me?

Roughly monthly at most, and less when there is nothing worth sending. There is no schedule to fill.

A month with no publication gets no email. That is the intended behavior rather than a lapse.

Is the content exclusive to subscribers?

No. Everything is published on this site at the same time, free and ungated.

The newsletter tells you it exists. If you would rather not be told by email, the RSS feed does the same job.

Will I get sales emails?

No. Subscribing does not add you to any sequence, and it does not result in a follow-up asking about your AI plans.

Commercial enquiries go the other direction; you contact AI Marketing Box when you want to.
